Hello Everyone!
There is a couple of things that Mr. Jae and I need responses about, so please get back to us as soon as you possibly can…
First, the Rock Run in Kensington is coming up on this coming Saturday, June 4th. Lizzie Savar is in need of a number as to how many of us will be coming out to help. Remember, you can either walk, run, or help to maintain the course. We will also be heading out before hand to help set up, and clean up after the race.
This is an early morning gig, requiring us to be there by 7 (the race starts at 8), so we would have to meet at the church by 6:15AM! Remember also, that this fundraiser will be instrumental in allowing The Rock Ministry to remodel their antiquated kitchen into a well-equipped commercial kitchen that will be able to serve thousands of meals to the needy of Kensington! Please let us know by 8PM tonight if you are able to attend so we can then let Lizzie know how many sets of hands to expect. The more the merrier, so parents, if you are able to attend, I am sure The Rock would appreciate it!
Secondly, I just got off the phone with Eric from Camp Ichthus, and he is very excited to have us out for our Missions Trip from June 25th – July 1st! However, a count of how many of us he can expect is needed in order for him to prepare. Please let us know by 8PM Friday night whether or not you will be attending our fantastic Missions Trip! Once we hear from you, we will email you the permission slip.
